The software of the MicroEDS unit is protected by hardware with the help of a dedicated protection stream. The tributary is a short USB unit installed in one of the appropriate connections. The stream is uniquely tailored to each customer's Raspberry unit based on the unit's serial number. Part of the installation process is adjusting the defense. According to the license terms of the software, the protection section must not be duplicated. Decision Makers provides each unit an alternate protection current with the same number in the event of a fault in the protection structure installed on the unit.
The license to use the software is conditional on a non-violation of the terms of use of the protection section.
